When goods arrive at our warehouse, they’re organised carefully on to a pallet and secured with wrapping or secure straps (a process known as ‘palletising’) to create a single, stable load. The pallets are all the same standardised unit size, so they’re easy to transport with our forklift trucks and can be stacked neatly and efficiently into our specially-designed vertical storage system.

Palletising offers several important benefits:

• Increased Efficiency – it allows us to move large quantities of goods at once, instead of having to handle individual packages.
• Space Optimisation – it makes much more sense (and it’s a lot safer) to use our warehouse stacking capacity as optimally as we can; palletisation makes this easy.
• Damage Protection – palletisation typically organises goods together tightly, helping to minimise the risk of any damage from external factors, such as transit hazards.
